Production Director
This position is a full-time, on-site, salaried position.
Position summary:
The Production Director is responsible for the overall knowledge, strategy, staffing, and execution in the areas of audio, video, lighting, media, and video broadcasting —including Sunday services, various ministry programs and events, and other in-house or external events. Applicant must have a working knowledge of Dante & Audinate network systems (or similar), and be able to troubleshoot and maintain such networking and A/V systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Produce excellent services and events church-wide that foster an environment where the Spirit of God can move without hindrance.
- Oversee the proper operation of audio, lighting, media, and video broadcast software and equipment.
- Architect, uphold, and help others achieve an approved standard audio mix for all services and ministries at Oasis.
- Troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise during worship experiences or during the week.
- Seek out and implement new technology and resources that improve worship service experiences.
- Prepare and manage ProPresenter and media computers.
- Work alongside the Worship Director and Pastors on creatively coordinating the worship experience and message.
- Oversee stage design
- Some experience editing videos and podcasts is ideal
Develop & Train Volunteers
- Work with team leaders to help them grow and develop their skills and teams.
- Recruit and develop volunteers to provide fully staffed teams.
- Develop roles and responsibilities for each areas of the team.
- Establish processes and systems that help team members create consistently high-quality materials and experiences.
- Train media teams for kids and youth ministry.
Manage Equipment
- Act as primary strategist in organizing and maintaining standard operating procedures for all creative and production equipment.
- Oversee the purchase, maintenance, and storage of all audio, video, lighting, and media production equipment, continually exploring and implementing new audio elements and initiatives.
- Identify, report, and repair issues with all software and equipment.
- Experience using Behringer/Midas sound equipment preferred
- Experience with Blackmagic Design Switcher preferred
- Dante Level 1 and Level 2 certification preferred
Assist Worship Leader
- Edit highlights of worship content from weekend services and push out weekly. Work with worship leader to develop regular video worship content.
- Compensation is dependent on experience.
